Pretty Pretty Princess

Mom has been feeling really under the weather w/ cold/flu type symptoms.  So, we decided to let her have a little peace and quite tonight and didn’t go over to their house.  We came home and had pigs in a blanket & edamame (not together) for dinner.  Autumn LOVES to help make the pigs in a blanket by wrapping the hot dogs.  She’s really good at it.

After dinner, we just relaxed and watched some TV.  She disappeared into her room and came back out carrying this dress and asking for me to put it on her.  Then she went and got her new church shoes and asked for me to play some music on my laptop.  She twirled and danced around the living room like the pretty pretty princess that she is.

She even got her teddy bear in on the action so she would have a dance partner.  I danced a slow song and fast song w/ her and we were just laughing like crazy.  She likes it when I dip her.

After all of the fun and excitement, she was worn out and put on her princess crown and then sat on her throne (rocking chair) for a while to catch her breath.  I know I say this all the time, but I really am so glad that she’s such a girly girl.  I know for me personally, it would be much harder to be a single Mom to a little boy.  Autumn & I compliment each other so well and I’m glad we have each other.

I put her to bed and then watched Project Runway.  I’m not a big fan of Gretchen’s clothes b/c like Michael Kors said, “they look too granola.”  I’m hoping Mando wins.
