Creative Cussin’ & Long Lines

Autumn was so excited to go to school today so she could share the snowmen treats that I made w/ her classmates and teachers.

Dad called while I was at work to say he was going to get Autumn from daycare.  That was good since I needed to stop at the store and get a few things for Autumn’s teacher’s gifts and a few other people.  I got home and Mom had gone grocery shopping so I helped her put the food away and make spaghetti for dinner.

Britt stopped by to drop off this gift for Dad.  It’s a little flip book called Creative Cussin’ for Rednecks.  Inside the book are 2 different stacks of cards that you flip to make funny combinations of words.  For example there was scallywag bucket, ………..

We were flipping through it and found some really naughty words that we had to rip out and throw away.  It’s really fun to see what funny combinations we can come up with.

After eating dinner and watching some TV and talking, it was time to get Autumn home to bed.  This was our gift for the 10th night.

Ten lords a leaping would be an awesome gift,
But they got stuck while jumping through a white snowdrift.
We had to be content, you see,
to watch the popcorn fly.
So we’ve added a sweet topping to it for you to try.

After I got Autumn in bed, I had Nick keep an eye on her while I went to the store.  I went to Kinko’s to make some colored copies and then went to WalMart to get a few final Christmas gifts.  It was 11:15 pm when I finished walking around and went to the front of the store to check out.  They had 7 registers open and each and every line was so long, they each went down the check out aisle and wrapped around into the main shopping aisles.  It was crazy, especially for so late at night.  I can’t imagine what it’s going to look like tomorrow night and the next night!

I came home and stayed up until 2:00 working on a few Christmas gifts.  I didn’t realize it was so late b/c I had Golden Girls on TV in the background while I worked away.  I am going to be so tired tomorrow!
