Happy December

How on Earth is it already December?  It feels like it was just the 4th of July a few weeks ago!  This month is full of fun events, so I know it’s going to fly past in the blink of an eye and it will be 2011 before I know it.  Yesterday, we didn’t do anything noteworthy.  We just went over to Mom & Dad’s and had dinner and watched Biggest Loser.  I am SO GLAD Brendan went home.  I don’t like him and Frado (I like Patrick, though) and the big boy game playing club they have going on.  I can’t believe Elizabeth is still there, though!  She bugs me and should have gone home instead of Mark.

Tonight we had chicken ala king & pastry puffs for dinner (so good). Mom had made some deviled eggs for Britt to tell him thank you for the hockey tickets.  We went and dropped those off and then she had 2 extra trays, so we took them to the Jones’ and Christine.  Autumn loved getting to drive around and see all the Christmas lights.

We got home and watched Survivor and I can’t stand NaOnka and the fact that she didn’t offer to stay back from the reward since she was quitting and going home in a few hours instead of letting Holly go!  She’s such a selfish jerk.  I was SO MAD at her!  After that, I needed to get Autumn home to give her a bath.  She wanted Papa to wrap her up in a blanket, so he spread one out on the floor and then rolled her up like a burrito.

We were laughing b/c she is getting so big and it’s harder and harder to carry her.  She’s grown up so much just in the past year!

I know this picture is blurry, but she wanted me to get a picture of her inside the blanket.  She was laughing hysterically and thought it was the coolest thing ever.  I got her home and gave her a bath, but she had a melt down 1/2 way through when I tried to rinse off the soap.  I guess she had just hit her tired point and wasn’t a happy camper. 

Yesterday she had been naughty right before bed time, so I had put a call in to Santa Claus to let him know she needed to be put on the naughty list.  Sadly, I had to call Santa again tonight and let him know she still needed to stay on the naughty list.  Hopefully she can be good tomorrow and get back on the good list so he can bring her the Barbie movie she’s been wanting.
