O Tannenbaum

Today after work/school, we went over to Mom & Dad’s for dinner and watched a little TV.  We left around 8:30 instead of our usual 9:00 b/c I wanted to make sure Autumn went to bed a little earlier tonight since she’s been a cranky pants at night lately, and I also wanted to put up our Christmas tree.

Nick was a good helper and went up in the attic to get all the stuff down for me and helped me set it up.  I wasn’t going to put up our tree this year since we’re never home, but now I’m so glad we did.  It was fun to turn off the lights in the living room and just have the glow of the lights on the tree.  It makes everything feel more fun and festive.
