Little Bug’s Laughter

I had quite the morning, which started at 3:50 am.  I woke up to the sound of water and realized Autumn was peeing in my bed!  It was a LOT of pee, too, so I had to change her, put her in her own bed, start a load of laundry, and then I went back to bed on a sheet b/c I only have one mattress pad (and it was in the wash).  Then for some reason I kept waking up every hour and didn’t get a very good night’s sleep.  Oh, well.

This is the dress that I got for Autumn at Ross yesterday for being such a good girl while Papa & Nick watched her yesterday while I worked.  She worked it like a true diva.

I love her little facial expressions.  I do have to admit that she looked pretty stinkin’ cute in this dress.

IMG_1511_edited-1 We had a good Sunday, especially sacrament meeting.  It was about missionary work and about 6 people were asked to come up and share how either they or their parents learned about the gospel and were converted and baptized.  It was really neat to hear their stories.  We came home and I got changed (Autumn wanted to stay in her dress) and then we went over to Mom & Dad’s house to have lunch.  Mom made Easy Tamale Casserole, but said the recipe should probably call for a small can of cream of chicken soup, b/c it was really runny.  But, we were hungry and ate it and enjoyed it.

IMG_1513 I went back over to the Home Show once I got Autumn situated w/ a movie to finish up our last day there.  I had to hide behind our booth a few times when people in big oversized costumes walked by (like the Chick Fil-A cow).  The guys in the booth next to us were SO NICE and were good old Southern guys.  They own a full service stone yard called Tagg Stone and had some pretty cool stuff.  I kept sharing the candy I brought w/ them and vice versa.  Once 5:00 rolled around, it was time to pack up and head home.  They knew I had been at church earlier in the day and had met Autumn when she came to visit yesterday, so they gave me this cross w/ a heart in the middle for Autumn.  I didn’t want to tell them that we don’t really do crosses, so I gratefully accepted it and told them thank you.  It was fun to meet such nice and down-to-Earth people.

IMG_3711 I came home and it was nice and windy outside, so we grabbed the kite and went out into the backyard.  I used my old point & click camera to take this picture and just highlight the yellow in Autumn’s dress.  I love this picture!

IMG_1520 We flew our kite and even let the string all the way out.  Autumn wanted Dad to push her on the swing so she could go “scary high”.

IMG_1524 Then she wanted Papa to swing w/ her.  I was standing kind of close to them and she wanted Papa to get me w/ his shoe.  So, he took it off and threw it at me.  She thought that was the funniest thing ever.

IMG_1526 Then she wanted Papa to stand in front of her so she could bop him on the butt w/ her feet.

Then she wanted to bop me on the butt.  I debated about posting this video b/c of my big old butt, but I had to post it b/c her laugh is so contagious.  So just ignore my butt and enjoy her laughter.
