Today after work/school, we went over to Mom & Dad’s house. It was really cold today (49 degrees), so I made some chicken soup. It tasted just like Mom’s…woo hoo! After we ate, Autumn was using her dry erase marker on her little school board and got some on her shirt. So, we made her take it off so Mom could put something on it right away b/c the shirt was new. Autumn was so upset and kept crying, “I don’t want to be naked” (yeah for being modest) so Dad went and got one of his t-shirts for her to wear. Even though Autumn had eaten a whole bowl of soup and some bread, she had the munchies and ate 3/4 of a cylinder of Pringles. I love this picture b/c she’s just chillin’ in the rocking chair and is completely unaware of Emma sitting there just hoping that she’ll drop a crumb.
Autumn wanted to go outside and blow bubbles even though I told her it was cold. She didn’t care b/c she got all warmed up by running after the bubbles and trying to catch them.
She looks funny chasing after the bubbles in that big old t-shirt. It looks like an oversized dress. I’m just glad she had fun, and her laughter was so contagious. Such simple things that bring such joy.
I don’t know if it’s the bubble mixture or the wand, but these bubbles were huge and held together really well. They were super colorful, too. I thought it was cool how this one landed on the plants and didn’t burst. After a while, I finally stopped blowing bubbles for Autumn & made her come inside b/c it was getting too cold.
We just hung out and watched TV the rest of the evening and then Autumn & I went home. I got her in bed and just watched some TV in bed before falling asleep. I should have blogged, but I was too tired.
