Killer Cookies

Today was our first day in the new office.  I am liking it so far and my favorite thing is getting to organize all the office products and getting my desk set up the way I want it.  I have a nice new LED monitor w/ a wireless keyboard and mouse and laptop that connects to them.  There are a lot of things we need to get fixed like the phone extensions, alarm system, etc.  But I’m excited about the new office even though I have to work from 8:30-5:00 now (30 minutes longer than before).  30 minutes doesn’t seem like much but it’s so hard getting Autumn to wake up earlier.

I got the cleaning bug tonight and organized a few shelves in Mom’s pantry.  I also cleaned out the candy bucket b/c there was candy in there that looked like it had already petrified.  I found a bag of white chocolate and semi sweet swirled chips.  I decided to make the cookie recipe on the back of the bag.  It was super scrumptious, and as you can see, Autumn liked the dough.  I love this look of “Uh, oh!  Caught in the act!”  We hung out w/ Nick and watched some TV.  I’m so sad the Biggest Loser is over until next season.

Jocey and a friend came over to swim, and Autumn kept asking to go out and swim w/ them, but my arms and shoulders hurt so bad from my sunburn that I didn’t want her grabbing onto me so I told her we could swim tomorrow.  Since Nick was gone doing his home teaching, we stayed at Mom & Dad’s to make sure Jocey or her friend didn’t drown until they left at 9:30.  I hope Autumn’s not a stinker in the morning.
