We were supposed to move into our new office on Saturday, but the people that are in it now haven’t moved into their new space yet. So, I am set up at a temporary office for the time being and all the calls are being forwarded to my cell phone. I really hope we can move in to our new place sometime this week!
Anyways, Mom called at 3:15 to say that I needed to rush home instead of leaving work at 4:30 like we had planned. She called to say their travel agent called and told them their flight to San Francisco had been cancelled b/c we had hail earlier in the morning! It was clear as could be when he called. But, regardless Mom & Dad had a choice. They could either rush to the airport to try and make a 5:40 flight or they could wait and fly tomorrow and miss their first day of their trip in Hong Kong. They opted for the 5:40 flight. So, I left work in a rush and met them at a grocery store parking lot near the highway. We hurried to the airport and they were able to make it onto their flight (even though it was delayed and didn’t leave until 9:00 pm).
Since we were out at the airport I sent Mou a text to see if he was working and he said he was on break so we should come by the terminal he was at and he would come out and say hi. I haven’t seen him in a while, so it was good to talk to him and catch up with what’s going on with him and his family. Autumn was being really shy around him b/c he is growing out his hair and he has a big afro and she wasn’t sure what to think about that. He had to get back to work, so we gave him a hug and said good bye.
Autumn & I got in the line to pay at the toll booth to leave the airport and Autumn started saying she had to go potty. I told her I was going as fast as I could but that she needed to hold it until we could leave the airport and go to a store or restaurant so she could use the potty. Of course, the line I was in barely even crawled and she started crying and saying she couldn’t hold it. I felt bad for her, but there was nothing I could do. The second we went through the toll booth I cut across 5 lanes of traffic (safely) and pulled off on the side of the road so she could get out and pee in the grass. At least we had a nice view of a hill of bluebonnets (I didn’t know they were still alive this late in the season) & the airport sign. It was pretty comical once she finished and hadn’t peed her pants.
We came home and had dinner and waited for Nick to get off of work. He ate some dinner and then we went over to the grocery store parking lot to pick up my car. The sunset was so pretty, but we weren’t able to get a picture of it before the sun went below the horizon. I put Autumn to bed and Nick stayed w/ her while I went over to Christine’s. I am SO EXCITED that we’re going to start watching the Bachelorette again. I don’t really care for Ashley as the Bachelorette, but I’m just excited to spend some girl time w/ Christine & Mary & Melanie & Karri. I have missed seeing them every week. Anyways, I got home at 11:30 and found Nick & Autumn passed out on the sofas.

How fun for your parent's!! AWESOME. What does Mou do at the airport? ENoch works the ramp. I wish he could transfer somewhere else besides LA. Texas, Vegas, Utah... anywhere! Living here is RIDICULOUS!! WAYYY too expensive!!
I feel the same way about The BAchelorette as you do..
