I decided that tonight was the night we were going to try In-N-Out. I went and got Autumn and we parked out in the dirt lot next to the store b/c they don’t have enough parking. I was encouraged by the fact that there wasn’t a line of people waiting outside. We walked in and this is all we saw…just a few people in line in front of us. We only waited 2 minutes, which is way better than the 2 days that one guy waited to be the first one in line when it opened.
Here’s Autumn Bottom w/ her In-N-Out hat. I got a double double (animal style) meal and Autumn just got a regular burger and a strawberry shake. The fries were less than mediocre, the shake was average, and the burger was pretty good. I liked that it was dripping w/ sauce and cheese and grilled onions. The messier the burger, the better. I’ve had In-N-Out twice before in my life, and even though I think it’s tasty, it’s not as good as all the hype that surrounds it in my opinion.
After we were done eating, we went to Mom & Dad’s house to give Nick the burger that Autumn didn’t even touch. We went out in the garden and picked some veggies and then went swimming. Jocey & her friend came over to swim for a little bit.
Autumn was a stink bug Johnson, so I gave her a bath in Mom’s tub while watching SYTYCD that I had recorded earlier. Mom called and said they were just waking up (it’s 13 hours ahead in Bali) and that they are having a great time but will be glad to be home. It’s so crazy that we can talk to them on via the iPad! I didn’t realize it was already 9:30 pm so Autumn & I packed up our stuff and headed home and went straight to bed. It was SO NICE to walk into a nice, cool, air conditioned house.

I have to agree. It's a good burger, but all the people who rave and hype about it not sure what they are eating.
