Banana Bread

Not much happened today.  At work it was really slow and I am almost done reading Eat, Pray, Love.  I tried reading that book once before, but couldn’t get into it after about 10 pages so I quit reading it.  But, having seen the movie I decided to try reading it again and am actually enjoying it. 

Autumn & I went over to Mom & Dad’s and had steak & everything sandwiches for dinner along w/ some squash.  We watched SYTYCD and Mom had a bunch of overly ripe bananas, so I made homemade banana nut bread. I was going to wait and do it tomorrow after Mom is gone to Utah so she wouldn’t be tempted to eat it w/ her diabetes, but she said to go ahead and make it tonight.  It was SO GOOD all warm and moist out of the oven w/ a little melted butter spread on the slices.  YUMMMY!

Then, I played a game on the iPad w/ Mom.  You play these games and build your own antique shop.  It was addicting to play together and before I knew it, it was already 9:30 so Autumn & I came home.  I put Autumn to bed and watched a little TV and called it a night.
