Happy Early Birthday To Me

Today at lunch I splurged and went and had my once-a-week meal at Market Street for lunch and then finished reading Switched.  It was so slow this afternoon that my boss told me I could leave at 4:00.  You don’t have to tell me twice.  I got Autumn & we ran some errands w/ Mom & Dad.  We all loaded in the truck and Mom had a coupon for a free car wash, so we went and got the truck washed.  Autumn doesn’t like car washes but Papa was telling her to put her hand on the window and she was looking at him like, “Are you sure about this?”

She was brave and kept her hand up there even when the brushes came by and was so proud of herself when we got out of the car wash.

We decided to divide and conquer, so Autumn & Dad went to Big Lots and bought a shelving unit to go in the pool bathroom to hold all the towels b/c the one we have now is completely falling apart.  Mom & I went to Tuesday Morning and got this big 6’x 9’ rug for my living room.  It is SO SOFT and luxurious.  It’s an early birthday present for me.  We stopped by my house and dropped it off and it is going to look SO NICE w/ Mom & Dad’s old living room furniture (pictures to come when it gets moved in).

Mom & I made steak & everything sandwiches for dinner.  Nate & Jocey were watching the clean flicks version of Gangs of New York.  We all ate dinner and had some Blue Bell Ice Cream for dessert.  Nate only had a little tiny bowl of it, as you can see!  We finished the movie and then Mom went w/ Dad out to one of the clinics.  Autumn & I watched one of her Barbie movies and it was getting late so we finally went home and went to bed.
