The Hunger Games & Ice Cream

Today at work, it was even slower than yesterday.  I even put in 3 orders in the morning.  I read The Hunger Games most of the day when I wasn’t answering phones.  I even treated myself to a panini, cherry coke, and sweet potato fries at Market Street.  It was 5:00 before I knew it, and I stopped at got Autumn.  We have no food at home, and I had a coupon for a free Happy Meal at McDonald’s, so we went there for dinner.  We even saw a family from our ward there, and one of the girls is in my class.  She went and played w/ Autumn in the play area.  After Autumn ate her dinner, she wanted an ice cream cone, so we went and got one.

While she was off playing, I kept reading The Hunger Games online.  Thank goodness McDonald’s has free WiFi.  After playing for a few hours, Autumn wanted to go play some games on the computers they have at a few of the tables.  My laptop battery finally died and most of the kids had gone home and so Autumn & I went over to Mom & Dad’s to let Emma out.  Autumn watched Dora or Diego while I kept reading.  She finally fell asleep and I finished reading The Hunger Games and started Catching Fire, the 2nd book in the series.  I couldn’t stop reading even though my eyes were so tired.  I finally finished the book at 4:30 am and fell straight to sleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
