Dad made fried zucchini for dinner and I had stopped at the grocery store on the way home and got some french bread so we could make garlic bread. We figured w/ all those carbs we should have something healthy, too, so we had green beans. Autumn has turned into a regular paparazzi w/ her fake camera. Tonight she kept wanting to take pictures of my tongue. Such a silly bug.
We went outside to check on the zipper spider and he had already devoured the huge moth he caught in his web yesterday. I like how you can see more of his web and the “zipper” part of it.
Here’s my little protégé taking a picture of the zipper spider (it’s just underneath Dad’s hat). Liz sent me a text to see what I was up to and I told her we were just going to swim and to come on over. It was just her this time, since Liberty was out having a guy’s night at a golfing place. We had fun swimming and talking about life. We finally got out at 8:00 and Curt called to see if we wanted some veggies and cantaloupe from his garden since no one was going to be home at their house to eat it for the next few days. We were happy to take the food off his hands, so we jumped in the car and went over and got it and came home.
Dad left from work to go get Mom at the airport. Mom called me before her plane took off and told me I would never guess who was going to be on her flight. I asked about 20 questions before I figured out it was Mou! What a small world! He had been up in Utah for a family reunion. She was hungry and wanted a sandwich so he bought him one too and they sat and talked for a little while until it was time to get on the plane. Autumn really wanted to see her, but it was too late at night, so I told her she’ll just have to wait until tomorrow. Mom got a lot of good work done with getting Rufio moved in to the front apartment. We are so glad she’s home!
