Welcome Home, Papa!

P1020710 This morning when I woke up, I found Autumn asleep in my bed and she was wrapped up in the sheet and just looked so sweet and peaceful that I had to take a picture.  We got ready for church and the lesson today about the 10 Virgins went really well.

P1020713 After church, we came home and I changed clothes and Autumn changed shoes and then we went over to Mom & Dad’s so I could finish reading Mockingjay.  It ended up being a really great series and I’m glad I read it.  Autumn was playing hopscotch on these princess foam puzzle pieces.  We also had Harry Potter on in the background since it was on TV.

P1020716 Autumn kept asking to go swimming, but I had to keep telling her that we don’t swim on Sundays so we can keep the Sabbath Day holy.  I made the mistake of telling her this morning that we were going to pick Dad up at the airport tonight.  She kept asking all day if it was time to go to the airport yet.  Finally at 8:00 it was time, so we loaded in the car and headed that way.  She was out like a light within 5 minutes and stayed that way even after we parked near the gate.

P1020718I was finally able to wake her up so we could go in and wait for Papa.  We were waiting near the baggage carousel, but he only had a carry on and went out another door.  Luckily, we spotted him and met him outside.  Autumn was excited to hold up her picture and told him that it says, “We are so glad you are home and we missed you a lot and want to go swimming.”  LOL!  Dad drove us back to his house so we could get my car & then Autumn & I came home and went right to sleep.

I’m glad that Dad got home safe and that he got the chance to go to Utah and spend time with his family.  They had a little family reunion in central Utah and went 4 wheeling and had a great time from what I hear.  Wish I could have been there to enjoy all the fun, but someone had to stay home and take care of Emma (not to mention the fact that I had to work and couldn’t afford a plane ticket anyways).
