Tonight after Dad & Autumn went swimming, Autumn asked if Papa would make her a smoothie. I think it’s funny that she always wants to pull a chair up to the counter to “help” but then plugs her ears when Dad turns on the blender.
He put some left over pineapple in with the pina colada mix and it was like being transported to a tropical island!
Mom and Dad had a big lunch earlier today and Dad & I just had meatloaf sandwiches for dinner. We watched America’s Got Talent and then Autumn was hungry right before we left, b/c she only had a jam sandwich. Mom warmed her up a frozen burrito and put cheese on it. She would give Autumn a bite and Emma kept looking so longingly up at Mom hoping she would get a bite, too.
Nick had a date tonight and we are super excited for him! They went over to Monzingo’s house and watched Coraline and made cookies. I was happy to hear all about it when he got home from the date. Also, worth of mentioning is that Nate graduated today from his Airfield Systems Training. He’ll get to come home for a few weeks before he goes to Japan for 2 years. We’re so proud of him.

What base in Japan? And boy was I relieved when you said Japan and not Aghanistan!
My ex lived at yakota (spelling?) air base for 3 years...he loved it.
