Autumn The Dancer & Artist

Today at work I got some orders put in and then it was so slow and the phones were so quiet.  I left at 4:00 and went and got Autumn at college.  We stopped by Mom & Dad’s and picked Mom up and went to McDonald’s.  Nate was in Houston for a friend’s wedding, and both Nick & Dad were at work.  Dad had taken his Corvette to the dealership to have his windows tinted, so he took Mom’s Cadillac and so that’s why Autumn & I picked her up instead of just meeting at McDonald’s.  Autumn went and played for a little bit and Mom & I sat and talked.  All of a sudden, Mom said she didn’t feel good and was sick to her stomach and all the noise of the kids and the music seemed amplified, so we left and went back to her house.  There wasn’t anything on TV, so we got caught up on our recorded episodes of SYTYCD.  Autumn was LOVING it and was dancing around to the music.

She kept telling me to take pictures of her pretty dancing.

I am going to have to see about getting her into some dance classes b/c she’s pretty good at moving around and having control over her body.  Plus she seems to really enjoy it and I think it would be something she’d be good at.

I was playing some games on the iPad and she said she wanted a turn.  She drew this picture and told us it was of Papa, so we emailed it to him.

Then she drew this picture and said it was of Mimi.  I think these are very artistic and that she did a great job.  Maybe someday she’ll be a famous artist and we can print these off as some of her first original drawings.

Any guesses as to who this one is of w/ the curly hair?  LOL.  As you can see on the top of the picture, it was pretty late.  She said she wanted to sleep in Aunt Lexie’s bed (the guest room) and then wake up and have waffles w/ Papa in the morning.  Since we had no where to be tomorrow morning, I told her that would be fine.  I was surprised she stayed up so late (11:15) and am hoping that means she’ll sleep in tomorrow.
