Welcome To The World Baby Jackson!

08.23 Jackson Mom called me today while I was at work and said that Lexie’s water broke at 11:30 so she was headed down to their house for a few weeks.  Mom called back and said Lexie & Jon went to the birthing center at 11:55 and Lexie delivered Jackson David Guymon at 12:19!  He’s 10 lbs 1 oz!  I am so glad she had such a quick delivery w/ a baby that big and b/c she did it all natural.  She’s amazing!  Welcome to the world sweet Baby Jackson.  It’s going to be funny when Lexie calls the kids to dinner… Andrew. Jackson.  LOL!

P1030023 After work/college, Autumn & I came home and made pigs in a blanket w/ baked beans for dinner.  Dad called to say he was coming over to replace the soaker house outside b/c our foundation is looking really dry.  NO BUENO!  He ate some dinner with us and then we loaded my old dishwasher in the back of the truck and took it over to Liz & Liberty’s house b/c they want it.  We sat and visited w/ them for a while and Autumn loved getting to play w/ their 2 puppies.  We watched a little bit of Wipeout and then had to leave so we could run some errands.  Autumn said that she thought we needed to stop and get a drink/treat so she talked Papa into going to 7-Eleven to get Slurpees.  They have these WWE collector cups, and I resisted buying The Rock one and just settled for a picture of his big, buff, brown perfect physique instead.

P1030025 We got our Slurpees and I didn’t even fill my cup to the top and for some reason it decided to expand and spilled out the top of the lid and I was slurping it up as fast as I could and got a brain freeze.  Autumn didn’t care what flavor she got, just as long as it was pink.  The reason she’s wearing her 4th of July dress is b/c as soon as we walked in the door from work/school, she went and changed into it.  This girl loves her dresses and loves changing outfits.  I’m in so much trouble when she’s a teenager!

P1030026We went to Lowes to exchange a part and Autumn was drawn to the Halloween displays they had set up.  It’s crazy that it’s already out b/c it’s 2 months away but I guess that is the next major holiday that’s coming up (except for my birthday of course).  Dad brought us home and we hooked up the soaker hose and let it run for a little bit.  Dad went home and Autumn and I read books on the couch for a while and then I gave her a bath.

roomMy movie Room With A View came in the mail today so I decided to watch that.  I have never seen it before, but bought it b/c I’ve heard people say it’s good and I’ve seen it on some blogs.  Well, it was a good movie but I’m glad I only paid $7 for it.  It was slow to develop and seemed a little odd and disjointed.  I definitely prefer Sense & Sensibility and Pride & Prejudice over this.  Also, I was completely SHOCKED at the male nudity.  It wasn’t sexual at all, it was just 3 guys that stripped down to swim in a pond but it was full on frontal nudity and I wasn’t expecting that at all.  By the time the movie was over, it was already 12:30 am so I went to bed.
