Can You Put Your Stinky Toe In Your Eye?

This morning I woke up and was still feverish, but I got ready for work anyways and just hoped that the fever would go away.  We finally got some rain this morning and the sky was so pretty w/ the dark and light clouds w/ sun rays streaming through.

At work today, we went on a “field trip” and went to a showroom for some tubs we are going to start using.  They had a bunch of pizza there for us to eat for lunch, and it was GOOD pizza.  They also had drinks and cookies and brownies.  It was really nice of them to do.  I learned a lot b/c they had a great power point presentation about their product (try saying that 3 times fast).  They encouraged us to get in the tubs and see how comfy they are so we can tell potential customers about them.  Ryan & Jared were more than happy to climb in and said they were so comfortable that they just wanted to stay there and sleep.  It was nice to get out of the office for a while and get fed good food to boot.

Autumn & I went to Mom & Dad’s house and had left over eggrolls & fried rice for dinner.  I think they eggrolls taste so much better cold, so it was a real treat to eat them for dinner.  We also had banana cream pie for dessert.  After dinner, Autumn was playing with her dolls and we were watching America’s Got Talent.  She came and sat down next to me on the couch and I thought she was going to snuggle w/ me.  But, instead she said, “Do you want to see me put my stinky toe in my eye?”  It caught me completely off guard and made me laugh so hard.  I said back, “Why of course I would love to see you put your stinky toe in your eye” as if it were such a normal and everyday thing.  She then proceeded to do this.

This girl is so flexible!  I couldn’t stick a toe, stinky or not, in my eye if my life depended on it.  I was SHOCKED that iLuminate was in 3rd place on AGT.  I thought for sure they would win.  They are an act that I would for sure pay to go see.  But, I am THRILLED for Landau and even got teary eyed b/c of his reaction to winning.  It was so tender.

Autumn & I came home and I put her to bed and watched Toddlers & Tiaras (nothing else was on) while blogging.  The best part, though, was having my Anthropologie Blue Volcano candle burning next to me on the coffee table.  The smell is just intoxicating.
