A Quiet House All To Myself

Today after work we went over to Mom & Dad’s house b/c Mom had turkey soup.  It was super scrumptious and hit the spot.  After dinner, we started watching last night’s recorded episode of Modern Family.  I’m glad Mom has DVR so I can watch it, b/c I have Young Women’s every Wednesday night.  Anyways, we weren’t able to finish it b/c I had to leave for a 7:00 Single Adult meeting at my house.  We had to meet again b/c at our last meeting we weren’t able to figure out exactly who we want to talk at our Single Adult fireside in February.  So, Pete & Nancy & I met and figured out what we want to do.  Autumn was going to come home w/ me but stayed at Papa & Mimi’s b/c she and Papa were going to go to Home Depot.

After my meeting, Dad hadn’t dropped Autumn off at home yet so I called to see where they were.  Come to find out, they never went to Home Depot b/c a little girl and her Dad had come over to bring Dad cookies to thank him for gluing her forehead together a few days ago when she had cut it open.  So, Autumn had just stayed there and played w/ the little girl while the adults talked.  I had the whole house to myself and it was GLORIOUS!  I watched Grey’s Anatomy in peace and quiet, and I LOVE that show.  Then after that was over I started editing pictures and blogging while watching Project Life All Stars.  I am so excited for this season and especially love Anthony (the funny black guy from Georgia) and Austin Scarlet.  Nick finally brought Autumn home at 9:15 and I threw her in the tub and gave her a quick bath b/c she was a Stink Bug Johnson.  Then it was time for bed.
