As Close To Kebapci’s As I Can Get

Today towards the end of work, Mom called and said Genelle wanted to try some Greek food for dinner.  So, I just stayed at work and they came down to my area of town and we went to a yummy Greek place we know of.  This meal was SOOOO GOOD!  Their tzatziki sauce is out of this world.  Then even better than that was this thin sliced meat w/ pita bread.  It’s the closest I can find to Kebapci’s, and it made me so homesick for Slovenija.

I had to eat and run, b/c it was already 6:40, and I had to be to the church by 7:00 for Young Women’s.  We did a combined activity tonight w/ the Young Men and went around to people in our ward for a food drive.  We collected a lot of canned goods and specifically were asked to try and provide cereal for the local shelter.  I had 3 fun girls in my car and we had a blast and made it fun.  Can I just say how THANKFUL I am for my iPhone?  There is no way we could have gone around to all the houses we were assigned w/ out it.  We weren’t given a map, so I had to look up all the addresses on my phone.

We got done around 8:20 and I left to go get Autumn Bottom from Mom & Dad’s house.  They are so good to me and make it easier to fulfill my callings.  I hope they are getting just as many blessings as I am for serving, b/c I couldn’t do it without them.
