It was Autumn’s Easter party at “college” today, so she wore a cute spring dress and took her Easter basket with her. When I picked her up after school, she said it was super fun and she had a great time. We went to Mom & Dad’s house and had dinner and then everyone had to go different places by 7:00.
Autumn & I rushed home to change clothes and head over to the church for Young Women’s. The YW theme for this month is Good Works, so we got plastic gloves and trash bags and walked around the park & school by the church to clean them up. They weren’t disgusting or full of trash, but we found more than I thought we would. Autumn had a great time running around and picking stuff up. It was like a treasure hunt for her.
The weather was PERFECT and I’m glad things had dried out from the storms yesterday. Autumn & I both noticed how cool but ominous the clouds looked tonight. I’m the one that used the word ominous, not her. LOL!
She was such a good girl, so when we got home I told her we could paint our toenails after her shower. We decided to be festive & use Springy/Easter colors. She thought that was the coolest thing ever. It’s fun to be the “cool” Mom every once in a while and do something fun.
