Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 23

Here is Week 23 w/ all of it’s good, bad, and downright ugly.

Monday~ I picked Autumn up from daycare and noticed she was limping.  I looked down and the whole rubber bottom part of her left shoe had fallen off!  Also, I had an insert for today which I put at the bottom of this post.

Tuesday~ Nate got to come home from Japan for a few weeks of leave.  He was so cute w/ Autumn and even braided her hair.  We had him go swimming w/ us to keep him awake and acclimate to the time change.

Wednesday~ After Young Women’s I went w/ Sis. Lee & our 4 graduating Laurel’s to BJ’s to get pizookies.  We are going to miss having these 4 incredible young women in our class.

Thursday~ I was reaching down to get a bowl out of the drawer for Mom when my left middle finger nail got caught in the handle and broke off 1/2 way down my nail bed.  It was so gross and I had to wear a finger brace to protect it until I can get it fixed.  Liz & I went and saw Snow White & The Huntsman that night, so I included my ticket stub.

Friday~ We found out that Curt’s Dad passed away yesterday and Curt is making the casket.  We went over and got the guys’ church shoes and shined them.  It’s a small but meaningful tradition that Dad started w/ another family who had a parent die.

Saturday~ We had another big shrimp boil w/ everyone.  Also, see inserts below.

Sunday~ It is so fun to see Nate interact w/ Jackson since this week is the first time they’ve seen each other.  This picture wasn’t taken on Sunday, it was taken on Friday, but who cares.  It was sometime during this week, which is good enough for me.

I used Design C for some extra pictures I wanted to include about our Saturday.  Autumn & Andrew had a sleep over at our house on Friday night, b/c Saturday morning they had a babysitter.  All 7 adults went to the temple for the first time together.  It was a neat experience.  After Autumn & Andrew & I dropped off the babysitter we saw some kids selling lemonade on the sidewalk so we stopped and bought some.

After the temple and then swimming and shrimp boil, Autumn & Andrew & I went to the baseball stadium to watch Monsters, Inc on the big screen.  It’s something we look forward to doing together every summer.

Monday night Autumn had a major melt down b/c I was trying to help her do “homework” and practice writing her letters.  This letter is the result of getting through that meltdown together.  I just slipped it into an 8.5x11 page protector.  I know it sticks out a little bit at the top but that is fine since it will be in a 12x12 binder and doesn’t stick out past the 12x12 page protectors for the week.
