Serene Sunday

This morning Autumn & I got up and had a nice and relaxing morning.  We ate some breakfast, played w/ Emma, watched a little TV, I started some Creamy Crock Pot Italian Chicken for dinner later on today, and then we left to go home and get ready for church.  Autumn was so good in sacrament meeting today.  The hallways were way more crowded than usual today, b/c a pipe burst in the cultural hall and they had a big huge machine there w/ fans that were airing out the building.  That part of the hall was blocked off, so we had to go the long way around.  My lesson on prayer went really well, even though we only had 1 Laurel & 1 visitor in the class.  This was what I found at the $1 store yesterday that goes along w/ the lesson perfectly.

I thought it was going to be hard to do a whole 40 minute lesson on prayer b/c it’s such a simple thing.  But, we ended up having a great discussion and shared stories of how prayer has helped us in our lives.

After church, Autumn & I went to Mom & Dad’s house to have our yummy dinner paired w/ some steamed broccoli.  Dad texted me and said they had gotten to their destination safely and not to text back b/c they were going to bed.  We relaxed for a little bit and then off we went to go visiting teaching at 6:00.  I love the ladies we visit teach.  They are so sweet and love it when I bring Autumn instead of thinking she’s an annoyance.  We stayed there for an hour and then headed home to pick up before our home teachers came at 7:30.  Our home teachers gave a short & sweet lesson on sustaining our leaders and parents.  Then Autumn & I had the rest of the evening to relax.  We watched Drop Dead Diva while coloring and then we had a wrestling match.  I just love my little bug so much and am so thankful we have each other.
