I was right…it was hard to get up this morning and get ready for school/work. Even though I was busy at work all day, which helped it to go by faster, it was also hard to be back at work after such a nice & relaxing long weekend. But, I’m thankful to have gainful employment so I can’t complain. Mom needed a break after the long weekend of cooking for everyone, so we all just did our own thing tonight. After Autumn & I ate dinner, Autumn wanted to decorate the house. Since it was already dark outside, we decided to put up the Christmas tree. It was up in the attic and I was worried I’d break the ladder, so I had Autumn go up there. She was scared at first but did a GREAT job and we were able to get the tree and decorations out of the attic. It’s time like this that I wish we had a Dad/husband that could help, but us girls made do.
She wanted to put ornaments at the top of the tree, not just the bottom of it. I went in the other room to get the camera and when I came back, this is how I found her. She’s a resourceful little lady. We played some Christmas music on my laptop and got the tree all trimmed. It was so much fun spending time making memories & strengthening Christmas traditions w/ my Autumn girl.
