Curt’s Farm Is Full Of Babies

P1090493 Tonight after dinner, Dad said that Curt had called him earlier in the day and said to bring Autumn over b/c he had a surprise for her.  Mom & I didn’t go over, so I sent my camera w/ Dad to take pics.  The surprise was that one of his goats had babies yesterday!

P1090505 When they got back and showed us the pics they had taken, we were shocked at how little the babies were.  When our goat, Gigi, had babies they weren’t nearly as small as these ones.  So, Mom & Autumn & I went over to see how little and cute they were.

P1090503 They had really long legs and it was so adorable to watch them try to walk around on their wobbly legs.  It’s amazing that they know how to walk from day one!  Their little bleating noises were so funny.

P1090527 Curt’s dog had puppies a few weeks ago and they were so cute, too!  As you can see, it was feeding time when we got there.  Spring has definitely sprung at Uncle Curt’s farm!

P1090530When Autumn & I got home tonight, I put her to bed and then got a hankerin’ for some sugar cookies.  Plus, I thought that would be fun to decorate sugar cookies tomorrow between sessions of General Conference.  So, at 10:30 I started making sugar cookies w/ this super easy recipe.  I love it b/c I don’t have to sit and wait for the dough to chill in the fridge.  Plus, it makes a lot of cookies and they are super soft.  I made a mess all over the counter, but it was totally worth it, especially when I frosted them w/ cream cheese frosting.
