Mom was in charge of refreshments tonight, and the theme was “Soaring With Scouts”. All of the refreshments & treats had to do with things that fly. She made this ADORABLE hot air balloon out of cupcakes in the scout colors, brown licorice for the ropes, and rice crispie treats for the clouds. She is so stinkin’ talented & creative.
She also found this idea on Pinterest for making a butterfly out of veggies and dip. So easy to do, yet so cute!
And for the treats for the scouts, she & Dad made these airplanes out of Smarties, sticks of gum, life savers for the wheels, and a rubber band to hold it all together.
