Purple Thistle Blossoms

Can you spot the big bee on a purple blossom in the middle of the pic?  We found a HUGE patch of these purple thistle blossoms that I am OBSESSED with.  They were as tall as me!!!  I took a BUNCH of pics, but am just including these few.  I like how at the beginning the pictures progress from the beginning stages through to when it blooms.  Nature is so amazing.
