Random Breakfast & Random Hole In The Cake

Autumn woke me up this morning and said she had made me breakfast.  I sat up w/ a start imagining that she had made a huge mess in the kitchen by trying to pour the new gallon of milk.  This is the “breakfast” she brought me…a cup of water and some fruit snacks.  SO CUTE & THOUGHTFUL of her to do that.  She even offered to take a picture of it for me.

Church today was really nice, and after church we went over to Mom & Dad’s for dinner.  Mom made the usual roast & carrots & potatoes & gravy & manly jell-o for dessert.  It’s always so good b/c she’s such a great cook.  Autumn & I left at 5:00 to go over to Liz & Liberty’s to celebrate Liz’s birthday.  It’s not until tomorrow, but her family was celebrating today.  She asked that I make the tres leches cake, b/c it’s her favorite.  Dad, unbeknownst to me, had cut a piece of cake right out of the middle!  He took some money and put it in a plastic baggie and put it in the hole!  He accidentally pushed too hard on the top of the lid when he was putting a sticky note that said “Happy Birthday”, which is why there are some spots that are missing.  They were stuck to the underside of the lid.

Liz opened the baggie and was surprised to find a whopping $3!  LOL!  My Dad is so RANDOM, but funny.  She was giving him the “are you kidding” face.  We all got a good laugh out of it.  Autumn & I had to leave the party early so we could go visiting teaching at 6:00.  We ended up staying and visiting teaching until 7:30!  I prefer to have short 30 minute visits, but we hadn’t seen each other in a while so it was good to catch up.  Autumn & I came home and had a popsicle, watched a little TV, and then I put her to bed.
