Today at school it was “Rock ‘N’ Roll Day”, so Autumn wanted curly hair & make up. I asked her which pop star she was dressed up as and she said “Selena Gomez.”
She was so excited that I let her wear makeup & her pink sequined shoes.
Today is Papa’s 58th birthday, so Mom made him his favorite dessert…homemade banana cream pie like his Mom used to make. I have no idea why Nate put so many candles and on such funky angles.
Happy happy birthday, Papa dear. Happy days will come to you all year. If we had one wish then it would be… A HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU FROM … WE!!!
After celebrating Papa’s birthday, Riannon wanted Mom to dye her hair before she leaves tomorrow. The color she picked was medium brown. They had some left over, so I had Mom color my hair w/ the extra.
After I washed out the dye, my hair was DARK! I thought it was just b/c it was wet. Well, it wasn’t b/c of that… the color they got made my hair look DARK brown/ bordering on black.
I had Nate bring the Nordic Track from upstairs and put it in my trunk. I set it up on the tile in the dining room so I can exercise while I watch TV. It’s been a while since I’ve been on one of these and I didn’t have the tension on the skis tight enough, b/c they almost slipped out from under me a few times! I finally got the hang of it and am excited to have an easy way to exercise.
I’m so glad that we got to celebrate our Dad & Papa on his special day. He is such a MARVELOUS MAN & we are all beyond blessed to have him in our lives.
