Miss Autumn wanted me to take a picture of her curly Q’s before we left for school this morning. We had to get a shot of the front AND the back … this girl for sure gets her bossiness from me!
After I picked her up from school, we came home since my visiting teachers were coming over at 6:00. Mom & Dad came & picked us up at 6:30 and we headed over to the high school football stadium for their homecoming game. Mom & Dad brought food from Jack In The Box & we “tailgated” in the parking lot. SO MUCH FUN!!!
Autumn was so excited that some of the curly fries looked like her curly Q hair ringlets.
She wanted to wear her cheer uniform since it just happens to be the same as the high school team’s name & mascot. I’m glad, b/c then we can get the most use out of her uniform that we can.
The other team threw this white stuff (later found out it was baby powder) at the end of their school’s fight song.
It was homecoming, and right before the first kick off, this old guy in a white t-shirt ran out into the middle of the field and started yelling stuff. Some of the staff had to chase him down and drag him off the field. I later heard (don’t know if it’s true or not) that it was a teacher from the other school and he was drunk and they had to taser him, handcuff him, and he was arrested once they got him off the field!!! CRAZY!!!
This ADORABLE little grandma lady sat in front of us and was totally into the game. She’d stand up w/ the rest of the crowd & do this every time there was a kick off. She was a hoot to sit behind b/c she’d yell at the refs & players and was having a great time.
Autumn saw one of the boys from her class, and he came over to say hi. He was sitting a few rows behind us and they had fun smiling and waving to each other the whole game.
Mom went and got us some drinks & came back w/ these funnel fries. They were SO STINKIN’ GOOD & were soft and chewy on the inside but crispy on the outside. My mouth is watering just thinking about them.
It was a good game & we won, which is great since it was our homecoming. We didn’t get home until 10:30 pm, but we all had a great time!
