Autumn forgot her backpack at Papa & Mimi’s last night, so it was not a very pleasant morning. But, I decided to be a nice mom and go get it for her after I dropped her off (so she wouldn’t be late) and then bring it to the school and drop it off for her even though it made me a little late for work.
Tonight for dinner Autumn & I met up w/ Rachel & Jane for dinner at Cracker Barrel. It’s the 5 year anniversary of Tara’s death today, and we wanted to remember her and eat at one of her favorite restaurants. It was so bitter yet sweet at the same time. I’m so glad that Rachel & I live in the same ward…what a small world. It’s nice to talk to someone who knows Tara & how wonderful she is. It was really special to me!
Rachel had to leave to go to a meeting, so Autumn & I took Jane home. We had to stop on our way our so we could sit in the rocking chairs for a little bit. I noticed that these blue chairs had the Air Force insignia on them!!! Who knew Cracker Barrel made military specific rocking chairs??? Pretty cool!
Autumn LOVED having someone around her age to talk to. It was funny to listen to what they were saying when I was driving Jane home. Such cute girls!
When Autumn & I got home, I had her take a shower b/c she was a “Stink Bug Johnson” and then she wanted me to put curlers in her hair.
I got her in bed and then watched Project Runway & then flipped over to Parenthood. I LOVE that show and am so glad it’s on again!!!
