My Permanent Crown

I debated whether I should post this unflattering, creepy, gross shot of my nasty tooth.  But in trying to keep things real and to show the unpleasant along w/ the pleasant things in life I decided what the heck.  So, here’s a picture of my canine tooth that had to have a root canal.  This was after the dentist took off the temporary crown…

…and this is what my smile looks like w/ the permanent crown on it.  Since it was a front tooth, my dentist had me go to a place that does shading (2 different times) to make the coloring would fit right in w/ my other teeth.  Pretty cool.

Tonight there was a beautiful fiery sunset, and I was trying to get a picture of it.  But, this is what I got instead.  I was about to delete it, but then I noticed all the “check mark” lights!  I thought it looked kind of cool, especially on the green traffic lights!  Instead of Young Women’s tonight, I went to my bi-monthly Single Adult Committee meeting.  Definitely not as fun or lively as being w/ the Young Women, but we got a lot accomplished.
