This was in Autumn’s backpack tonight when I unpacked her stuff to read and do homework. I LOVE this picture she drew of Papa w/ the bald head & glasses. Pretty good likeness for a 6 year old drawing!
After dinner, Autumn & I borrowed Mimi’s library card and went to the library for the first time ever. She wanted to sit on the bench next to this statue & mirror what he was doing.
We went to the Children’s Section & we looked up where the Fancy Nancy books are. She got a few of those and then picked 2 other books. Next we went upstairs so I could check out the Austenland books. I think she’s the cutest little bookworm that ever was!
After we got our books & the DVD of South Pacific, we checked out and then stopped to get gas on the way home. I’m so glad that it’s under $3/gallon now, and hope the price just keeps on falling.
We got home, read one of Autumn’s Fancy Nancy books, I got her to bed, and then curled up on the couch w/ this book. I already saw the movie, so figured I could read the book to see how they compare. I always enjoy having a good book to read, but my problem is that I’ll get so engrossed in it that I ignore everything else, and I’ll stay up WAY TOO LATE (1:30 am) reading.
