Project Life Tuesday ~ Week 38

Monday ~ We love the #1 deal at Little Caesar’s ($7 for a large pepperoni pizza w/ Crazy Bread & dipping sauce).  It feeds me & Autumn & Nick & is such an easy & cheap dinner for those nights when we’re busy & rushing around.  We had to work on homework & then go to the store b/c we were out of the essentials like milk & eggs & cheese & bread.

Tuesday ~ Today when I picked Autumn up from daycare, she told me she had something she wanted to show me.  She grabbed my hand & took me over to this whiteboard where she had written, “Mom I love you so maush.”  She even said, “Mom you should really get out your camera & take a picture of me with it.” LOL!  I’ve taught her well & her note made me feel so loved.

Wednesday ~ I chipped my left canine tooth last Dec & just lived w/ it until last week when it started to hurt REALLY bad.  I made an appointment w/ the dentist and had to have a root canal.  Then since I was late to work anyways, I stopped by the DMV to renew my license.  It took about 45 minutes & I’m glad I got 2 yucky things done & out of the way in one day.

Thursday ~ Tonight after work I treated myself to Chipotle & then had some time to kill before the 7:30 single adult session at the temple.  I walked around a grocery store & was disturbed when I rounded the corner & saw this creepy mannequin in the produce section. RANDOM!  I was glad to make it to the temple safe & sound b/c I saw a fender bender happen & then this big semi-truck was stuck on the high part of the road outside of the temple.  I’m glad I found peace inside the temple.

Friday ~ Before Nate left for Spain, he cleaned out his desk & closet.  The Great Gatsby was on a pile he was going to donate & I had never read it (we read to Kill A Mockingbird in high school instead), so I took the book to read.  I stayed up until 1:30 am to finish it and I did NOT like the book at all!  I have no idea why it’s a classic.  It’s way too wordy & disjointed for my taste, plus it’s about people having affairs and getting caught.  Lame!

Saturday ~ Today was busy!  Lexie & crew came up for the weekend and we and fun eating breakfast together & hanging out.  Then at 11:30 Mom & Dad & I loaded up our cars and went over to the church to put on an after funeral dinner for over 150 people!  We were there until 6:00 pm & were so tired.  We came home & crashed & then watched the BYU vs. U of U game.  I’m sad BYU lost.

Sunday ~ Happy 28th Birthday, Nick!
Church today was really good & uplifting in all 3 meetings.  I was SO EXCITED to watch the brand new Season 4 premiere of Downton Abbey live over the internet.  After it was over, Mom & I got busy making Nick’s birthday dinner of shoyu chicken, rice, stuffing, and corn.  Curt & Jessie came over & ate w/ us too.  Then we had blueberry pie & sang to Nick.  We love you, Nicky Snicky!
