Child Of The 80’s

Since Autumn got 12” cut off her hair for Locks Of Love, she doesn’t need my help w/ her hair anymore.  It’s so much easier for her to brush so she does it on her own.  I had to snap a pic (sneakily) of how she ties her shirt to one side w/ an elastic.  I never showed her how to do that, she just started doing it one day.  It make sense since I was a child of the 80’s and she has my blood.

In keeping w/ a theme of the 80’s, we had fruit by the foot for a snack, and were watching a little TV together tonight before bedtime and the only thing we could find was Full House.  She had never seen it before, but after about 2 minutes of watching it she said, “That Uncle Jesse is so cute!”  Ah, my work here is done.  LOL.

After I got her to bed, I finished reading this book that I had started on my plane ride to California last week.  I haven’t seen the movie yet, so I wanted to read the book first and then I’ll go see the movie.  It wasn’t my favorite book ever, b/c I’m not really into all the futuristic space stuff, but it was good and I enjoyed reading it.
