Autumn’s “SICK” Day & Cheer Party

IMG_1797 Autumn started coughing so hard last night that she threw up all over in her bed, on herself, and on the floor.  That was fun to clean all that up … NOT!  Luckily she doesn’t throw up very often so it’s not a regular occurrence.  Anyways, as we were getting ready this morning she kept coughing and coughing and coughing.  I decided to keep her home from school today b/c there’s no way the school would let her stay in class w/ all that disruptive coughing.  Mom & Dad both had appointments today, so I called work and told them I would just work from home.

I gave Autumn a breathing treatment while she watched Disney Jr.  I love it that Rosy Posy was hanging out w/ her and watching TV, too.

P1110295 We went over to Mom & Dad’s so I could use their internet (we don’t have internet at home) to check work emails.  Mom made the most delicious breakfast sandwiches.  She had to leave for her appointment and I was busy doing work emails, so Autumn went outside w/ Papa.  I went out to check on them and he was giving her rides in the wagon as they went around and put away the neighbors’ trashcans.

P1110304 I helped Dad put up some more Christmas lights on the front trees and by this point it was time for lunch.  I made some chicken salad sandwiches and since it was so nice outside, Papa & Autumn ate outside.  I ADORE this picture of them deep in conversation about something while eating lunch together.

P1110302 Autumn was so happy that she kept finding these dandelion puffs and kept bringing them to me to make a wish w/ her.

P1110305 As you can tell, she was feeling MUCH better and I really should have taken her to school, but the day was more than half over by this point.  I told her that she is FOR SURE going to school tomorrow.

She was “helping” Papa clean his Corvette before the bad weather hits tomorrow.  It makes me laugh that Autumn had Rosy Posy stuffed into the waist of her pants so that Rosy Posy could be w/ her outside but not get dirty.  LOL!  It was warm enough outside today (75 degrees) that I broke a sweat while vacuuming and cleaning out my car.  I LOVE having a clean car!

P1110320 Autumn took a bath, I worked on the addresses labels for Mom & Dad’s Christmas cards, we snuggled and watched some TV, we made tacos for dinner, and then Mom put these adorable bows on these presents for Autumn’s cheer coaches.

IMG_1014 We met at Yogurtville as a quick end of the year wrap up party.  Everyone fussed over her short hair and how cute it looked.  She was soaking it up like a sponge.  It was so fun to see all the girls again and see Autumn interact w/ them.

IMG_1018 We gave Coach Rachel & Kara the gifts we had put together for them.  All of us Mom’s had decided about 1/2 way through the season that we would do a photo book.  Of course I did a Project Life mini album w/ the football theme pack of cards.  It was neat watching the coaches pour over the pictures and they were so so so thankful and loved their gifts.

IMG_1024I’m SO THANKFUL that Autumn had the chance to be on this team w/ these girls and these coaches.  It was such a wonderful experience and we’re already looking forward to next year.
