Tonight was Christine’s bridal shower. Karri hosted it at her house, and it was wonderful. I LOVED this plaque they had on the table w/ this saying, “It’s never too late to live HAPPILY EVER AFTER.” That is so true in Christine’s case. Everyone brought a treat to share and we had all sorts of good food to snack on.
Once everyone got there, we played a game where Glenda had separately asked Jeff & Christine a bunch of questions & she wrote down their answers. She read us their answers and we had to guess if the answer was Christine’s or Jeff’s. We cast our votes by holding up the pink lips if we thought it was Christine, and the moustache if we thought it was Jeff. I thought that was such a cute idea!
After that, it was time for presents. They had just asked for gift cards to Bath & Body Works, but our group is more fun than that, and she got a bunch of fun married type stuff for the wedding night. It was so much fun to be together and laugh and talk and celebrate her. We’re all just thrilled that she’s found such a great guy who makes her happy and will treat her well.
