Aunt Tafta & Free Hot Chocolate

Uncle Kerry & Aunt Tafta came to visit for a few days before they head south to see their son & his family.  Autumn LOVES reading w/ Aunt Tafta b/c of the experience she had w/ her around this time last year.  She’s so loving and patient and kind, but she still demands excellence.  Autumn just soaks it up and really tries her hardest.  I need to learn how to be more like Aunt Tafta!

After the reading was done & I had done the dishes, Aunt Tafta showed Lexie & I how to do a few family history things in FamilySearch.org.  She’s quite the family history buff, so it was good to learn from her.

Shannon had posted on Facebook that you can get FREE hot chocolate at RaceTrack this week, so Autumn & I stopped on our way home to get some.  It’s super hot, so we always got and get a handful of ice pebbles to put in it to cool it down.  I added some Almond Joy creamer to mine and it was DELICIOUS!
