Carpet Cleaning & Crepes

Dad rented a carpet cleaner today and cleaned the carpets in the living room & other main parts of the house.  Since Mom is in Austin today (she went down this morning to watch the boys while Lexie & Jon go see Beauty & The Beast), he opened up the house & turned off the A/C to help the carpets dry faster.  It was SO HOT inside that we decided to eat out on the patio even though it was 92 degrees outside!  We had yummy fajitas that Nate & Riannon fixed.

Autumn has gotten all good days at school for the past month, so she earned a crepe.  She LOVES going to our favorite crepe place and watching the guy make them.  We decided to branch out and try the lemon custard/blueberry crepe instead of our usual strawberry cheesecake.  Neither of us were very impressed w/ the lemon one and we both decided next time we’ll stick w/ the strawberry one.

After we ate, we walked around and checked out this new tree house they built over the river.  Autumn had fun running all around it.  That big white circle looks like the moon (which was a full moon tonight) but it’s just a big ball of light that changes color, and they have them all over in the trees over the tree house.  It was a fun evening out celebrating the good choices my Autumn Girl is making.  LOVE HER!!!
