This morning Autumn wanted French Toast for breakfast, so I had her make it w/ me so that she could learn how to do it. She did an AWESOME job & I was so proud of her. We got ready for church & I took her over to our angel friend’s house while I went to my ward council meeting.
During the start of sacrament meeting, Autumn said she wasn’t feeling good. I could tell just by looking at her that she was sick. The sparkle had gone out of her eyes. We stayed long enough to take the sacrament, and then we came home so she could change clothes and I took her over to Mom & Dad’s house so they could watch her while I went back to teach in Young Women’s. My poor little bug fell asleep on the ride over to their house.
We were all combined in YW today b/c it was the first Sunday of the month. I set us up in the gym again, b/c that way we can be in a big circle and see each other. We talked about “Why is Jesus Christ important in MY life?” I gave them each THIS handout, and we talked about it & I gave them time to write. We also watched THIS POWERFUL video, and the Spirit was so strong in the room. Then I left 10 minutes at the end for Young Women to bear their testimonies if they wanted to. It was a very spiritual meeting, and I’m so thankful I get to serve w/ these incredible girls & other leaders. We had to get a group picture, b/c Freda is moving this week. We are going to miss her SO MUCH!
After church the 3 class presidents came over to my house and we had brownies and planned out our New Beginnings program for the end of the month. I took them all home & then went over to Mom & Dad’s house. Autumn was laying in their bed watching Pocahontas. Papa listened to her lungs, looked at her throat, and then checked her ears. I had to snap a pic of it, b/c pretty soon this won’t be happening for 18 months! What are we going to do without Papa & Mimi?!?!?
