Deep Thoughts & Flat Stanley

Tonight when I was reading 1 Nephi Chapter 8 I couldn’t help but notice how many times it says that Lehi "looked" or "beheld" or "cast his eyes round about." Do we "see" the good in each other and in the world? Are we aware of the evils in the world so we can teach our children to choose the right? Just some good food for thought!
