A Great Day & An Even Better Evening

We had a long day & it started off at 10:00 with a cheer game. It was fun to see Autumn’s friend, Ben. He cheers for one of the other teams but they have been friends for a long time.

I LOVE my little LOVE bug!

Their stunt during half time looked AWESOME! I’m so proud of them and how all the work they have put in is really showing & paying off.

Autumn cracks me up b/c she was trying to get every last droplet of water out of her water bottle. Even though it’s the end of September, it’s still plenty warm here!

After her game, we went and got her eyebrows waxed so she looks nice when she’s in Utah next week. It was sooooooo good to see Lily again, since we haven’t seen her in about 3 months. We just LOVE Lily. We were laughing about how Autumn is now almost as tall as Lily! We went and got our favorite penne dolcelatta for lunch and then came home and cleaned like crazy.

We swept, vacuumed, mopped, cleaned the bathrooms, and I even cleaned off the kitchen table! We did all that b/c I was hosting an ice cream social for the ladies (8 years old and up) in my ward (congregation) before the General Women’s Conference. It was a great excuse & motivator to clean up the house. It was a lot of fun to have so many ladies here talking and eating and laughing. Those are things that fill up my spiritual tank.

The ladies all left to go watch the General Women’s Conference at their own homes or at the church at 7:00. Usually Autumn & I would have gone to the church to watch it, but Savi was getting baptized in El Salvador tonight!!! We watched her baptism via Skype w/ Nicky Snicky. He was supposed to give a talk about the Holy Ghost and one of the missionaries would translate after each sentence he said. I helped him put some things together, b/c he only had one sentence last night! But, there were issues w/ the connection so the missionary just read his talk (in Spanish) for him. It all worked out. He was so emotional and just cried and cried b/c he was so happy. It was a very spiritual experience for all of us, and we’re thrilled for Savi!

After her baptism was over, Autumn & I sat on the couch and watched the General Women’s Conference b/c we had it recorded. It was a great day, and an even better evening!
