Autumn & I got up this morning & she said she felt much better about going over to Jason & Nicole’s today. I think getting some good rest helped. I took her over at 9:00 & she and Khloe started playing right away. She gave me a hug, told me good bye, and ran off to play.
I met up w/ Jonesy at Costco so we could get sandwiches for the mission reunion tomorrow, and to get some treats for our girl’s night tonight. After shopping we went through the Kneaders drive thru to get lunch. We went back to her house to eat lunch. It was wonderful having time w/ her to talk and catch up on each other’s lives. I’m so blessed to have had her as a trainer, and being so close still after all these years.
Jason sent me this picture when I texted to see how Autumn was doing. They were at the mall having lunch after going shoe shopping.
I left Jonesy’s at 1:30 to go to my 2:30 hair appointment at the Dressing Your Truth Salon. I have been looking forward to this for months.
Emily decided to give me some more highlights & add in a few low lights. She had me walk around and check out the store while the color was processing. I was trying REALLY HARD not to geek out when I saw ladies in the store & salon that I’ve seen on the DYT videos!
This is the sassy new hair cut, color, and style that Emily gave me. It was so fun to catch up w/ her and reminisce about sLOVEnija. She trained my trainer, so I never got to serve with her but we still know a lot of the same people, places, and missionaries. She’s FABULOUS!
Once I got done at the DYT salon, I went to WalMart to get some paper products for the mission reunion tomorrow. Then I met up w/ Willard, Jonesy, Cram, Riley & Mackay at Blue Lemon for dinner. We ate dinner and then got a bunch of desserts that we shared and each had a few bites of. We laughed and talked and laughed some more.
It was getting late and the restaurant was too loud so we went to Riley’s sister’s house. It’s a gorgeous 6 bedroom home. We took over the basement living room and talked until well past midnight. It’s been since the mission (12 years ago) since I’ve seen some of these ladies. But, we still have that super close sisterhood.
Jason texted me this picture earlier tonight from when the whole family went out to dinner.
He sent me this side by side of Jewel & Autumn. Um, think they’re sisters???? I had to do a double take, b/c at first glance they look like twins.

Looks like a fun trip! Glad you got to go! Kneaders is so good! I try to go whenever we get to Utah which was last week for us! Maybe we were both there at the same time. I took my oldest out to BYU for a campus visit since she is a senior and wants to go there next year. Crazy!
