General Conference Jeopardy Activity

This afternoon for Activity Days, Autumn's class started these cute weaving things for their Mother's Day presents next month. While she was busy doing this I ran to WalMart to get a few groceries that we needed.

For YW tonight we were combined and we played General Conference Jeopardy (you can find the power point presentation HERE). I was happy to see how into the YW were. They were jumping up and doing and rushing to find things on their phones. For the first round we had them pick a colored piece of paper out of a bag to make it random. Then for the 2nd round we let them pick their own teams. The team that won the first round got a big bag of Twix to share. The team that won the 2nd round & final Jeopardy got a big bag of Sour Patch Kids to share.

If I did this again, I would wait and do it the month AFTER General Conference so they could have the Ensign magazine to look up answers instead of having to use their phones. That way, they could mark it and put notes if they wanted to. Plus, I think it would be faster and easier for them. It was a FUN night!
