Clean Kitchen Gift

 It was WEIRD to getting ready and going to church this morning w/out my Autumn Girl. I went to ward council, and in Young Women's we had Sis. C come and share her testimony w/ us. She was released a few weeks ago, and I hate it that when someone gets released we just don't see them anymore. So, I had her come in to share her testimony, and we gave her a card and Willow Tree figurine to thank her for all she did for the Young Women oven the years.

 

After church I had nothing planned, but my afternoon filled up really fast. 2 of the ladies that I visit teach are moving next week but I won't be able to help them pack b/c I'll be up to my eyeballs in camp stuff. So, I went over to Sis. S's house to help her pack from 3:30 - 5:00. Then I went over to Sis. W's house from 5:00 - 6:30.

 

At church I saw Liz & Lib in the hall and had invited them to come over tonight for peanut butter & chocolate ganache pie. Luckily I was able to throw the pie together between getting home from church & going to help those 2 ladies pack. Y'all should have seen my kitchen! It looked like a bomb had gone off, b/c I couldn't even seen the counter or the sink. I texted Nick and asked him if he would be so kind as to just put the dirty dishes in the sink into the dishwasher.

 

Nick sent me this picture he took (that's why it's blurry) and I almost started crying! He went way above and beyond just putting the dirty dishes away. It meant so much to me to come home to a clean kitchen! It was so nice to have Liz & Lib over w/out having to be in a huge rush to get the kitchen cleaned before they got here. We had some pie and enjoyed the rest of the evening together just talking and laughing and catching up on life w/ each other.
