Daddy/Daughter Camp Out

It has been in the 70's here during the day, and 50's during the night the past week. PERFECT weather. Well, tonight is the Daddy/Daughter Campout for our ward and it's supposed to get down to 34 degrees tonight!!! The L family offered to take Autumn w/ them, and she was THRILLED! We took her stuff over to their house last night, and then they picked her up early from daycare today.

When I got off from work, I went over to Mom & Dad's house to help w/ the preparation for Nick & Savi's open house/reception tomorrow night. Dad made this cool backdrop for Mom out of PVC pipe. Mom hung curtains on it and is going to add lights and ribbons once it's reassembled at the church.

Aunt Sandy was busy working on the floral arrangements, and they were GORGEOUS! Mom got these beautiful blue/purple hydrangea from Costco.com. Who knew you could order bulk flowers from Costco and have them delivered right to your door??? So cool!

I asked Bro. L to take a few pictures and text them to me. He ROCKS & sent me several. They wanted to get to the campsite early so they could get the tents set up before it got dark.

Since we were in the middle of working, and the kitchen looked like a floral shop we opted to have dinner delivered instead of trying to cook.

Poor Bro. L is such a BRAVE man to take these 3 SILLY girls camping. But, I am beyond grateful to them for thinking to include Autumn. From what I can tell from the pictures, they're having a GREAT time!

We had to go pick up the truck from the mechanic's b/c the work that was being done on it was done. Mom drove the truck home while Aunt Sandy & I drove over to Nate & Riannon's so she could see what their cute house looks like. While they were giving her the tour, I got to love on Baby Spencer. I even got him to smile a few times.

He's such a happy, easy-going, chunky, snuggle bug!

Olivia was so excited to show Aunt Sandy her closet full of pretty dresses. It was fun to see them and visit for a little bit.

Papa left earlier today to drive down and meet Jon halfway and get the boys. Andrew & Jackson are going to spend a few days with us. Mom was trying to clean out the freezer to make room for the wedding reception food. There was some ice cream that needed to be eaten, so we put some in a bowl for each of the boys. Jackson finished his ice cream first, and Andrew was THE SWEETEST and gave Jackson the rest of his that he hadn't finished yet.

We're SO GLAD they're here and that we get to spend time w/ them. It was weird but nice to go home to an empty house, do what I want, and get a good night's sleep all by myself.
