Transmission Issues & A Missionary Meal

Poor Frank! Today at work when he was backing up, he heard a loud pop. Now his truck won't go in reverse at all! So, we'll have to take it to the transmission shop to have it looked at and fixed. We're really hoping it's the $300 fix instead of the $1,000 fix.

We were supposed to have a lesson at our house w/ Susan tonight. But she wasn't able to make it. We told the Elders to still come over anyways for dinner. As soon as we walked in the door, we had big cups of ice cold water for them, we put a big fan blowing right at them, and we made them put up their feet. We wanted them to relax and take it easy for a little bit.

Dinner wasn't my best b/c I made enchiladas & I used an enchilada sauce I hadn't bought before. It was gross. So we just covered it up w/ lots of sour cream to make it edible. LOL! The Elders didn't seem to care & were grateful for the meal.

After dinner we had ice cream, and then Olivia wanted to have a dance party. We found some upbeat church music that the Elders are allowed to listen to. They shared a great message w/ us about testimonies before they had to leave for their next appointment. We're so thankful to have the missionaries in our home.
