Indian Tacos & Julian's Play

We got up early this morning (hence why my hair is pulled up & looking weird ... it was still drying) & headed for Oklahoma. We got close to town around noon, and we were all hungry. Frank saw a sign for "Indian Tacos" so we decided to go on an adventure & try them.

It was in a school cafeteria & was a fundraiser. They were REALLY good & came w/ a drink & dessert. YUM! I'm super glad we stopped to try them.

We dropped the boys off at their Mom's house, and then went to the 2:00 showing of Grease. Julian was in the play, and he's the guy in front kneeling down in the black jacket on the left hand side between those people in white tshirts.

We ended up picking the perfect seats for the last part of the play, b/c he stood right by our row in the aisle for the final song. I love it that Grant & Spencer were there too to support him.

I am a bit of a spoiled snob when it comes to high school plays, b/c the 2 high schools in our area have AMAZING theater programs & professional theaters that you would find at a nice college. But, I can also appreciate plays like this, b/c when I was in theater in high school we didn't even have a stage & had to make do w/ a gross old one at an elementary school. I'm glad the theater program at my high school wasn't great, b/c otherwise I would never have been able to get parts. LOL!

Julian did so good & totally looked the part of a Thunderbird. Frank's sister, Lylalyn, came straight from work to be there to support Julian, too.

We left the 2:00 showing, got some dinner, went to GrannyMom's to hang out for a while, and then we went back for the 7:00 show. Julian got to be Johnny Casino in the 7:00 showing. That meant he had a solo during the prom scene & got to sing, "Hand Jive." He did an AWESOME job! Look at these HANDSOME Anderson men!

I LOVE it that Frank is such a "manly man" & knows how to do things like change his oil, fix anything that's broken, etc. After the play we came home, talked to GrannyMom for a while, and then went to bed around 10:00 b/c we were tired!!!
