Sparkly Halloween Surprises

Today after work/school, we came home instead of going over to Mom & Dad’s b/c Dad was at work.  We went out to check the mail, and Autumn had a package!  As you can tell, she was super excited to open it.

Inside was this super cute sparkly Halloween shirt, a 10 pack of lip gloss, and a card.  The package was from Jason, Nicole & Baby Khole.  I really appreciate Nicole’s efforts to take the time to send Autumn packages.  And to send something as thoughtful as lip gloss, b/c that is one of Autumn’s favorite things ever.  It makes Autumn feel special and loved, which are always good things for kids to feel.

I worked on Project Life while Autumn watched Swan Princess 3.  Then we went all out to make a gourmet dinner of Totino’s pizza in Nick’s toaster oven.

At 7:30 we went over to Liz & Liberty’s house to take Liz a CD w/ a copy of the pictures I took at her baby shower.  Liz’s Mom is such a sweetie and had fresh-out-of-the-oven oatmeal and raisin cookies.  She even brought them to us on a plate along w/ a glass of milk.  We all sat and talked for a while, which is so great b/c they are such good friends and I love and appreciate them so much.  I got to see the nursery, which is set up so cutely, and ready and just waiting for the baby to get here.

We finally left b/c Autumn was getting silly, and I needed to get home and do some laundry.  I let her pick a movie to watch when we got home, and she picked Mulan.  I got some laundry going and worked on Project Life.  When the movie was over, it was already 10:00 so I put her to bed and kept doing laundry.  I finally called it a night at midnight b/c we have to be up early to go get pictures taken.
