Good Looking Out, Autumn!

P1030521 Last night while I was at WalMart, I found this adorable shirt for Autumn on the clearance rack for only $2!  Can’t beat that!  She looked so cute this morning that we had to get a picture before rushing off to school.  She was looking over her shoulder so she could try and show her braid.

Today when I went to pick her up, another Mom was in the office of the “college” saying when she went out to get in her car, someone had broken the glass on her passenger side window and stolen her purse!!!  They called the police to come and look so they could make a report.  I feel so bad for her, b/c the same thing could have easily happened to me.  I usually just leave my purse sitting in the front seat b/c I lock my car and just run in and get Autumn and come right back out.  But I guess thieves target daycare parking lots for that very reason…no one takes their purses in w/ them.  So, you’d better believe that I’ll be taking mine in w/ me every time from now on.  I hope they catch whoever did that!

P1030522We just had leftovers for dinner tonight and after we were done eating, I went and worked for Christine.  She has these super fragrant and beautiful rose bushes growing in her flowerbeds, and I had to take a picture and literally “stop and smell the roses.”  She wasn’t there b/c the kids had sports events going on, but she left me a list of things to do and I just turned on iTunes on her computer and worked away.  Autumn didn’t want to come w/ me b/c the kids weren’t going to be there and b/c she is afraid of Christine’s parrot.  Last time we were there, the parrot squawked right as Autumn was walking by and it freaked her out.

I finished all my stuff and left at 9:00 and went and got Autumn.  Papa tried to scare me by telling me to get some chips out of the pantry, but Autumn was a good girl and warned me that the scary guy was in the pantry.  As they say on Kidd Kraddick all the time, “that was some good looking out, Autumn!” I hope Dad forgets that stupid thing is in there and gets scared.  That would serve him right and give him a taste of his own medicine.  I put Autumn to bed and then stayed up until 1:30 working on Project Life.  Nick had Whose Line on in the background, so we had fun laughing at that together.
